"Raising the Standards"

Mission Statement

The purpose of SACA is to improve the skills, knowledge, abilities, and image of animal care and control work, to cooperate with other agencies in animal care and control work and to promote better laws and law enforcement methods relating to animals.

Our History

For over 40 years we have dedicated ourselves to keeping pace with changes within this profession. Recent issues such as natural disasters and high profile cruelty investigations have thrust this to the forefront, requiring us to adapt to changes in training at an ever increasing rate. Join us in 2014 as we lead the way to a more prepared tomorrow for the benefit of both humans and animals.

This conference is open to Animal Control Officers, Animal Welfare groups, Animal Rescue Groups, Shelter Workers, Law Enforcement, Etc.   Basically, if you work with animals, please come and check us out!!    This is a great learning experience and networking orginazation.
